Ⅰ. Candidates applying for doctor degree in our school through "application-examination" must meet the following conditions:

1. It meets the requirements of the general entrance examination in our school's doctoral enrollment prospectus.

2. Full-time undergraduate graduation schools (excluding independent colleges) are universities with the right to grant master's degrees or overseas high-level universities. Full-time undergraduate graduation schools that are not universities with the right to grant master's degrees or overseas high-level universities, and candidates who only obtain master's degree certificates or only master's degree certificates, are required to publish one academic paper included by CSSCI or SSCI in officially published journals as the first author or correspondence author since 2015, or one academic paper in SCI II journals, or two academic papers included by SCI or EI (at least one SCI among them), or other academic achievements equivalent to the requirements of the above academic papers. Among them, the humanities and social sciences papers, graduate student tutor for the first author, students for the second author, students can be regarded as the first author.

3. Graduate schools and degree-conferring schools are "double first-class" national universities or overseas high-level universities. Graduate schools and degree-awarding schools that are not "double first-class" national construction universities or overseas high-level universities must publish an academic paper in an officially published journal as the first author or correspondent since 2015, and be included in CSSCI or SSCI, SCI, EI, or other academic achievements equivalent to the requirements of the above academic papers. Among them, the humanities and social sciences papers, graduate student tutor for the first author, students for the second author, students can be regarded as the first author.

4. Have a professional foundation, strong scientific research ability.

5. Have a strong interest in academic research, and have a strong sense of innovation, innovation and professional ability. 

6. Have strong language ability and a high level of foreign language.

II. Application Materials

2. Personal statement. The contents include brief experiences of study and academic research, original research results, research directions and research ideas I intend to engage in during my doctoral studies, etc. 

3. Expert recommendation. It must be signed and issued by two professors (or experts with equivalent professional and technical titles) who apply for the discipline and professional field. 

4. Copies of undergraduate diploma, degree certificate, graduate diploma and degree certificate (fresh master graduates submit the in-school certificate issued by the graduate student status management department of their school). Candidates who have obtained academic qualifications and degrees abroad must provide a copy of the certificate of academic qualifications issued by the Ministry of Education's Overseas Studies Service Center. Those who do not have a certificate are not allowed to take part in the examination. 

5. Transcripts of undergraduate and postgraduate stages. Provided by the undergraduate and graduate management department of the school where the examinee is located, and stamped with the official seal; Non-fresh graduates can be provided by the personnel department where the examinee files are located and stamped with the official seal. 

6, Foreign language proficiency certificate copy. 

7. Full text of the master's degree thesis (former graduates) or abstract of thesis (former graduates). 

8. Copies of papers, scientific research projects, awards, patents and other relevant materials reflecting their academic abilities. 

III. Time

(1) Preliminary interview arrangements 

1. Candidates shall submit application materials before 12 noon from November 21 to November 30, 2018. 

2. Each admissions unit shall organize an expert review team to comprehensively evaluate candidates' application materials and give review results respectively. The examination results are included in the admission results. 

3. Preliminary test. 

Written examination content: professional foreign language. 

Written examination time: November 30, 14:30-16:30

Interview content: other subjects in the preliminary examination requirements. 

Interview time: December 1, 8:30

4. Preliminary test results calculation:

 Preliminary results = (professional foreign language+preliminary subject 1+ preliminary subject 2)/3*70%+ audit results *30% 

(2) The second interview arrangement 

1. Second interview date: December 1, 14:30 

2. Second interview place: 208, Tudonghuan Building 

3. Second interview method: interview (including oral English listening, etc.) 

4, Each student's retest time should be generally not less than 30 minutes, among them, the examinee statement 10 minutes, expert examination of not less than 20 minutes. The total score of the second-round exam is converted into a percentile record, and those whose total score of the second-round exam is lower than 60 points will not be admitted. 

5. The second interview mainly inspects the student's ability to comprehensively apply the knowledge, the scientific research ability, the cultivation potential and whether he has innovation spirit and creativity, etc.

IV. Physical Examination 

From November 26 to December 10, 2018, go to Shengding Lianhua Hospital of Weihai City on an empty stomach (address: 700m south of Weihai Campus (East Gate) of Shandong University) for physical examination. Please bring the original ID card for physical examination, and provide relevant medical records for those with major diseases and major surgeries. The medical examination fee is paid by 40 yuan and the medical examination hospital on site. 

Candidates who do not take part in physical examination (including those who do not take part in some specified items) or whose physical examination does not meet the requirements will not be admitted.
